Peanut Butter Blossoms

Its the infamous peanut butter hershey kiss cookies! For someone who isn’t a huge fan of peanut butter and chocolate together, I sure eat an awful lot of these when I whip up a batch! ;) They’re soo good! And probably one of hubby’s favorites. They’re so easy, they look great and they’re very tasty! I prefer them when they’re a little warm so the chocolate kiss is a little soft so that you get some chocolate with every bite.

So tasty and so easy. Perfect for the holiday season!

Peanut Butter Blossoms
Yields: 4 dozen

1 3/4 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter, softened
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp milk
sugar for rolling
1 bag hershey’s kisses (I always use dark chocolate)

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside. Beat softened butter with peanut butter until smooth. Add both sugars and continue to beat mixture until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla, milk, and finally the flour mixture to the butter and mix until combined.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar until coated. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, gently press a hershey kiss into the center. Remove from cookie sheets to cool.

Lauren,

The chocolate hardens again so they can be thrown in a baggie or container just like any other cookie. They’re pretty sturdy once they’ve cooled!

Happy Holidays!
