Pumpkin Dog Treats

Oh the concentration on that delicious morsel of pumpkin goodness… She couldn’t handle it! :-)

Pumpkin Dog Treats
More please? Enough said. Go make these for your special pup and your pup’s pals.

Pumpkin Dog Treats

1 1/2 cup wheat flour
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well. Scoop a teaspoon of dough and roll into a ball. If dough is too sticky, sprinkle with a little flour. Place balls on baking sheet and press flat with fork, criss-crossing horizontally and vertically until cookies are uniform in thickness. Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom. Let cool completely before giving to your dog.

Yields: ~5 dozen 1″ treats

I have a boxer and when I give him something new to snack on he will look at it the same way on the floor. He likes to eat it when nobody is looking.

My beagle Ginger would flip out over these treats! She’s been slowly learning to like people food and pumpkin is one of her favorites. I will have to make her some of these :)
